About Igzia Health
A path to physical, mental and spiritual sovereignty
The Story
Igzia Health started as a personal counseling page in my hometown Ghent Belgium and soon developed into a platform for women to connect and share their collective mental health struggles.
This development was a result of countless inquiries which led me to see how much mental health counseling for young women of Afro-European descent was needed. My goal is to create a framework based on the highest potential for personal health and happiness. This happens by recognizing the individuality in every person both physically and mentality, understanding what supports life and what does not, and teaching my clients to trust and work with their internal sensory systems.

Our Philosophy
I am a firm believer in ancient cures and living by the natural cycles of life and nature. This helps to preserve, respect, and honor ourselves and the world around us. All of which is a key principle of Ayurveda. By living according to the natural laws we balance the elements inside of ourselves and this will reflect the way we treat and live in the world around us, which is a very relevant topic in today's world.
I love being in the service of people and watching them embody their highest potential through health and nutritional education, introspective conversation, bodywork, self-awareness practices, and the cultivation of space for heartfelt dialogue.
I help my clients develop a conscious relationship with their intuition and body, in doing so I assist them on a path to physical, mental, and spiritual sovereignty.
Connecting to the wisdom of intuition plays a very important role in clients recognizing what leads them to counsel, sourcing external help, and finding self-compassion in what they are experiencing.
We go on a journey with the soul and unravel everything back to their physical circumstances, linking both the seen and the unseen to current-day disease and psychological imbalances.
My spiritual journey started as a healing journey, it’s safe to say the two go together and this formed the foundation and philosophy of my personal development.
I drew inspiration from a lot of ancient Asian and African indigenous knowledge systems but studied Ayurveda most deeply.
Ayurveda is an ancient philosophy that originated in India and refers to a knowledge system, it can be translated as "knowledge of life".
The five elements (ether, air, fire, water, and earth) represent the most important foundational concept.
I believe everything starts in the unseen (the mind or air element). Thoughts are our human connection to the unseen element of our human experience.
As I began to deconstruct toxic mental programs, the more my mind detangled and spaces were created for a brighter perspective on mental health and life.
My world started crumbling, it was wonderful chaos of the remembrance of my authentic nature.
My instinct for freedom activated, and I found myself enjoying the process of creating change with my intuition in charge.
Having experienced this myself, I can help my clients through the process of deconstructing toxic mental programs.
For the past 5+ years, my inner-knowing and intuition have been in charge of my choices and moves, and it has brought me to beautiful places, connected me to wonderful people, and helped me live in alignment with my highest potential.
Something that I want all of my clients to experience as well.
When we start the decolonization of the mind, we need to start trusting our INTUITION more than we trust our MINDS, because not until we find constant awareness and understand our trauma triggers, we can not give our mind full authority.
We do this by learning to trust and work with our internal sensory system.
I can tell you that the journey of surrendering is not easy because as we learn, we start to notice voids that we never knew we had.
Bravery and faith are needed, But it certainly is worth it!
